The Thursday market is the nearest to La Belle Vilaine Gites

There is an annual vide grenier at St Cry (walking distance),usually in May - Vide-Grenier - Car boot sale (or literally 'empty-attic'). These sales are not just another car boot, they are usually huge and accommodate local dealers, selling antiques, along with usual car boot stalls. They also provide food stalls, eating areas and are a good day out.

Late July/ Early August- La Fête du Cheval et des Traditions, Nivillac. An annual festival set in the small 'town' of Nivillac - about 5 minutes from La Belle Vilaine.
