Everything was great couldn't have had a better location or accommodation. We acheived all our aims and Evie was well looked after by Elaine in respect of training. Also in spotting all the 'little things' we have never noticed about her. we have already sourced a clicker and some toys, harness and more games to follow soon. Thanks again for all the assistance you both gave to ensure a great stay.

Many thanks for a fantastic dog friendly break. Lovely warm welcome & much appreciated treats for human & dog. Fantastic dog training & good tips for getting out and about. Many Thanks.

Mike, Caroline & Bella.

Sep Thanks once again Elaine & paul for your hospitality. Although we only live 'up the road' in Normandy it's a real holiday here. Thanks mainly to the doggy friendly atmosphere. Will see you again next year.

Sep This is our 2nd visit this year & we have already booked for this time next year! Paul & Elaine, as well as 'the girls' make the holiday. They arrange the 'return vet visit', Paul tells me where the best 'cave' is and what to buy. A must is to see Elaine working her dogs. You may think yours are good.... just watch! Vannes market is a 'must', but get there early enough as it winds down around lunchtime. Just being here is a tonic as you unwind so well with the peace and quiet. I know many others say the same, but this really is a 'home from home' with friends next door & nothing is too much trouble. This is now going to be our holiday of choice just before winter each year, just to set us up for the cold to come!

Our honeymoon! Also our 3rd trip to the gite. Enjoyed it so much the last 2 times it had to be here for the honeymoon. The hospitality provided by Paul & Elaine is second to none. The gite is very well equipped, clean & a real 'home from home'. We are the 1st honeymoon couple & were welcomed with celebratory champagne & cake. The area is beautiful, gorgeous beaches fab weather, who could want for more? Alfie, our 1 yr old loved watching Elaine and the dogs with their agility sessions, made us wish we had a dog to bring! If you are reading this and thinking of booking - DO IT it's excellent!

See you soon Paul & Elaine, Kathy, Adrian & Alfie.

Aug Two weeks of glorious French sunshine! Sincere thanks to Paul & Elaine after our 3rd stay here. Another fantastic, relaxing holiday. We are taking home one very exhausted but sooo much happier Cairn terrier, Murphy. He relished every moment spent with Elaine and with the training he is now a pleasure to walk rather than being a 'zig-zagging chore'! We are already looking forward to our return visit next year.

Don't want to go home! Says it all really. What a fantastic place La Belle Vilaine is. Only wish we had found it sooner. Paul and Elaine are so welcoming & attentive whilst remaining discreet - perfect! We leave after only a week & they feel like 'life long friends'. And what a difference 1 week has made to our dogs. we arrived with one 'hyperactive' male and a 'shrinking violet' female & are going home with 2 well adjusted, can take them anywhere, bundles of happy canine contentment! Elaine's training has worked wonders. Everything we tried had little or no effect, and we had resigned ourselves to not having that 'happy medium'. 1 week later and we are going home with our dream dogs. Brilliant!

We will definatley be back, counting the days.

Kindest regards, David, Jennifer, Shadow & Alaska (our Utonagans)
NOTE : Updates received over the weeks following their return home tell us that Shadow recalls around distractions and Alaska can now walk past fields of cows without going into a blind panic. :-)

Aug Lovely holiday with the dogs (G.Shnauzer & lurcher) for the 1st time ever. Gite was perfect as were Paul & Elaine. Helpful before we even arrived, due to us getting lost! Elaine, thank you so much for the training with Diesel - highly reccommended, even if you haven't prebooked! The area is very interesting. Great walks, which Elaine has 'mapped out' in the 'info' file' Vannes is a 'must', La Roche Bernard too. We will definately return to continue exploring & training!
The Coleys, Diesal & Skip.
Aug We went on the river having hired kayaks, good fun if hard work! The gite is very comfortable, especially the beds! Paul & Elaine are great hosts. Thanks to Elaine for letting us see Haiyla perform her agility, so clever and so fast, no wonder you have done so well in competitions. We were amazed by the 'Moth Trap' - never knew there are so many different types. Sorry to be leaving, but we will have many happy memories.

Lovely week here with Baxter our 12 month old Schnoodle. Stunning setting, so many walks 'from the door', though to too short a stay as we only got to do a small selection of them. Great training sessions, lots to take away. I loved Elaines techniques - really positive. We felt proud as Baxter made his first steps in agility. La Roche Bernard is gorgeous. We loved the beaches at Betahon & Damgan. The markets are 'a must'. Accommodation - comfortable and well- equipped. Elaine & Paul are very helpful, yet discreet. We could have done with another week!

July Our 1st trip to Brittany. we were welcomed with 'open arms'. Amazing agility and training sessions with Elaine for Kiara & Geoffrey . Nice and quiet here no one bothering you, which was nice after a week in a noisy campsite. Amazing weather 25 degrees and over all week. About Elaine & Paul, I can just say any person and especially any dog will be in very good hands with them. Elaine has taught us a lot of things we didn't know, we shall carry on at home. thank you very much, we will come back.
Carole, Marta, Julie, Hubert, Geoffrey & Kiara.

Our first visit to Southern Brittany and during a wet summer, but that did little to spoil things due to the warmth of welcome & constant support from Paul & Elaine. Robbie dog (13 month Border Collie) thinks Elaine is the best thing since sliced Bonio's & has benifited greatly from her training sessions & BAT theory - which we shall continue. Walks in the woods, swimming in the river and sea. Exploring the beaches and rock pools, being able to take Robbie into restaurants all added to our 'new experience' All in all a wondeful time was had by all 3 of us. will we be back again? You bet we will!

Love, Andy Pat & Robbie and Meg (NOTE: Andy, Pat & Robbie loved the place so much, they now live in the area!)

July Another lovely holiday in doggy heaven, bought my wee sister Tammy this time. We enjoyed all the 'running around, jumping and chasing balls (aka Flyball). Mum & Dad enjoyed it too, even if Dads car did break down! I saw my 'fave lady' again, the one who understands us best and her nice mate Paul. My sister is getting much braver thank goodness. We will be back soon.
Love Kai, Tammy & Mum & Dad.

Another enjoyable 2 weeks, gone too quickly. Enjoyed walks in the local countryside and trips to the sea and cities. This year we did the walk at Erdeven - walk 14- which was well worth it. The restaurant Galileo in the square was excellent. We loved Loqmariaquer, pretty seaside village and another good resataurant at the Hotel Escale overlooking the sea. Port Navalo was worth the visit too - an attractive drive there around the edge of The gulf du Morbihan. Thank you, Paul and Elaine for your warm welcome and excellent accommodation.
Meals locally - we had a good meal at La Sarrasine Creperie, Le Vieux Quartier, and La Solenza.
Jan, Roger and Wellington

June Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Belle Vilaine. Thank you for the warm welcome received last Saturday after we had got ourselves well and truly lost in Brittany (not Provence) ! We learned a lot about our precious dogs and their body language which will help us greatly in resolving behavioural issues between them and enable us to give them a great life! We enjoyed exploring the beaches, towns and countryside despite bad luck weather wise. At least Smudge got to swim in the atlantic and run with the surf on the Cote Sauvage! (Sweep decided to paddle). We will be back to further our training and to discover more about the area. Thank you for helping us with the vets and for the welcome gifts. See you soon.
Josh, Carrie, Sweep and Smudge
June Enjoyed our stay in your gite. The weather hasn't been great, although apparently better than England. Had lovely walks with the dogs on the beaches. Thankyou for making the vets visits for the 'return journey'.
Malc, Val, Jasper and Dancy
June Had a lovely week with great walks through the woods and visits to beaches - Betahon and Penestin, both highly recommended. Vannes is a must La Roche Bernard too, don't miss the Thursday market. The gite is very comfortable and we really appreciated the welcome gifts. Thank you Paul and Elaine for your hospitality and wealth of local knowledge. We saw the black kites and heard the black woodpecker. It was great to see hoopoes and red squirrels in the woods.
Sue Peter & Suki.
June WOW! what a fab holiday! We in the (sadly) short time managed to visit a few historic towns and two fantastic beaches, a gorgeous wood, lovely lake, a placid river, a friendly supermarket, a buzzing market and a quaint village. We saw a stoat/weasle, kites, greenfinches, buzzards, kestrels, hoopoes, and Haiyla doing agility - very well! We have been on a lot of holidays before, but none as welcoming, comfortable or as enjoyable. This isn't the last you'll see of us I'm afraid! (Tierney, you are all welcome to come back). Thanks for being so patient and helpful with the training, we couldn't have asked for more. Thanks to Paul and Elaine, all of the collies / sprollies and to our lovely neighbours for letting Missy and Milo play with Suki (the 'lovely neighbours' wrote the entry above this one).
Dave,Sonia,Jordan,Tierney, Missy and Milo.
June Lovely sunny week & great chance for us to relax. Alfie (Border Collie) loved the beaches where he could bark at the waves! Gite has everything we needed and more. Very clean & made to feel welcome by Paul & Elaine. Thank you for booking our vets & for making our holiday very relaxing already looking forward to our return visit next year!
Becky, Anthony & Alfie, Woof!
May 10 Fantastic fun filled French days! Rainy start but still able to explore some of the beautiful countryside we couldn't fit in last time. Enjoyed Rochefort en Terre sitting in the sun sampling Galettes. Sat' market in Vannes along with Thurs in beautiful La Roche Bernard. Also made it to Quiberon, Carnac, Loqmariquer, La Croisic, La Baule & Le Grande Briere nature reserve. Thanks again to Elaine and Paul for being the perfect hosts, we'll miss you in Sept, but look out for us this time next year!
Vicki, Sue & Pepper.
May Brilliant time, made to feel welcome from the start, thanks for the welcome pack inc' the biscuits for Dougal. Not enough time to see and do everything so booking another two weeks in September! Plenty of walks with Dougal and he has been welcomed in all of the places in which we ate. Thanks to Elaine who booked the vets (for the 'return' passport 'stamp') & to Paul for his patience at Paws in the Park fo explaining the procedure which really is easy like you said. We think this is the first of many visits!
Thanks again, Wendy, Trevor & Dougal
April Dear Elaine & Paul thank you ever so much for making this holiday ever so lovely. Thanks for teaching Spike his contacts & Roxie with the basic jump, tunnel & weaves. Oh & I love Spikes weaves now, doing them independantly, WOW! Loved the walks with you all. Thanks for letting me groom Ficelle. Loved taking Roxie & Spike to the river for their daily swim. The agility competition you organised was great. Loved seeing you all, we'll miss you but looking forward to seeing you again at Paws in the Park.
Jan, Nigel, Emma & Spike & Roxie XX (2nd visit)
